What We Believe

We are Covenant Baptist Church, a group of people united by our faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior. We are an open and accepting people who celebrate our diversity. We welcome all persons in our search for truth, so we are inclusive of all ages, and of both genders. As a people, we look to the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scriptures for guidance in our lives.

The leadership of the Holy Spirit directs us to respect the priesthood of each believer. Because we believe the bible is the word of God, we value our bible study which is contemporary and scholarly.

At Covenant Baptist Church we value our relationships, and actively seek ways to deepen our friendship and love for one another. We support each other in good times and hard times, forgiving others as we have been forgiven by God. We share the good news of Christ's love in our church family and with others who find themselves spiritually poor. We also believe our church has a responsibility in our world to help those who are burdened with needs.

We toil together in God's kingdom with many other churches and denominations. We welcome cooperation at all times, and trust that our efforts will serve and please our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our Mission

The highest purpose of Covenant Baptist Church is to be a healthy family of faith.

To be healthy we must worship God with creativity and passion, help our members grow as disciples, and faithfully share goodness and the good news of Jesus Christ with those around us.
